For example, if you place your mark in the top right square of a mini board, your adversary will then be obliged to play in the mini board located at the top right of the larger grid.

When a player claims victory in a mini board, they mark that entire mini board within the larger grid. Once a mini board has been won or is completely filled, no further moves can be made within that particular mini board, thereby giving rise to complex tactical decisions as players strive to manipulate the course of the game.

The game comes to an end when one player wins in the larger 9x9 grid by securing three mini boards in a row, or when there are no remaining legal moves, resulting in a draw.
