THQ today released the toolkit for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War to help foster mods for the PC strategy game. The tools will allow gamers to create their own missions, maps, and units for Warhammer by importing their own 3D objects, tweaking statistics, and creating new visual effects. Included in the 77.6MB download is the mission editor, attribute editor, object editor, and FX tool. The game, developed by Relic and based on the tabletop game of the same name, is a real-time strategy game detailing events in the 41st millennium. The Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War mod tool is now available on GameSpot DLX.
