The first, Wacky Races, features characters from the popular Hanna-Barbera cartoon, and the action in this title promises to be as zany and irreverent as the chaos on the weekly show. Each of the eight different vehicles has its own abilities, and the tracks are fraught with jumps, bonuses, tricks, and traps.

　　"Wacky Races puts players in the driver's seat of an entirely new kind of kart- racing game that allows gamers of all skill levels to pick up the game and race to the finish," said Heather Hall, product manager for Infogrames' San Jose label. "Novice gamers will find the game easy to learn, while advanced competitors will find the possible combinations of vehicles, tracks, and terrain types - coupled with the quirky gags - challenging and exciting." Modes such as arcade, championship, endurance, and time trial are just some of the various ways of racing opponents.

　　The second Game Boy Color title from Infogrames is Looney Tunes Collector: Alert! This is the first title in a new line of Looney Tunes Collectors games. Alert! puts players in the role of Bugs Bunny, who has to stop Marvin the Martian from trying to blow up Earth. Bugs must find the ten missing pieces of Marvin's weapon to prevent global annihilation. Players will travel through 20 different environments and can encounter up to 47 other famous Looney Tunes characters: Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, and others will all be present and can be asked for help through the course of the game. Gamers can compare and trade their collections of encountered characters with those of their friends, through the Game Boy Link system.

　　"Looney Tunes Collector: Alert! allows children to do what they are most fascinated with - collecting things," said Mike Markey, vice president of marketing for Infogrames' San Jose label. "Add to that the world of Looney Tunes and its extensive realm of characters, plus a fascinating fun-filled adventure, and children have a game that they just can't put down and that their parents will treasure." Furthermore, six Link-only minigames will be included for players to go head-to-head with their friends.
