Kalisto has announced that it has signed two separate license agreements, one for Highlander and another for the FIA GT championship. A massively multiplayer game based on the Highlander movies and TV shows is currently in development at the company's offices in Bordeaux, France. Kalisto says that thousands will be able to participate in its online Highlander universe.
The second agreement allows Kalisto to produce an online game based on the FIA GT racing championship. Listed under a series of projects known as "sportners," Kalisto's FIA GT game lets you participate in an entire racing season against real-life professional drivers, similar to EA's Play Against the Pros feature. Race information will be transmitted from sensors placed on cars to Kalisto, who will later process the data and make it available to those who wish to participate in the same race online.
The release dates for both titles have yet to be determined.
