One of the problems we ran into initially with our Dreamcast here at videogames.com was that our controllers wore out far too quickly. To be exact, the L and R trigger buttons on our controllers just couldn't handle the heavy button pressing induced by our crew – especially during intense rounds of Ready 2 Rumble competition.
As a result, Sega of America announced that the controller problem will be fixed for the system's US release. The company blames a faulty piece of plastic as the reason for the controller trigger buttons failure. Apparently these new controllers will be released in the Japanese market soon.
