This week's ELSPA official UK game sales chart as compiled by Chart-Track saw Atari's movie-inspired Enter the Matrix retaining its position at the top in a week that failed to produce a single new entry in the top 20. Movement within the chart was minimal, although Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War for the Xbox did plummet from the top 10 all the way down to position 17.

　　Only two games that weren't present in last week's chart returned to it this week, as both Grand Theft Auto III and Spider-Man: The Movie--which has just been reissued at a budget price--claimed positions 18 and 19 after only a single week of absence. The two games that fell off the bottom of the chart to make room for them this week were X2: Wolverine's Revenge and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003.
