Microsoft has announced that Nutjitsu and Worms Battleground will be among two of the first indie titles to reach Xbox One as part of its ID@Xbox scheme.
Microsoft announced ID@Xbox at Gamescom 2013 as a way for developers to self-publish their titles on Xbox One, though the company hasn't detailed too much about the program since. Until last night, that is, when Phil Spencer responded to a question about publishing Kickstarter games on ID@Xbox.
"I think you will [see more Kickstarter campaigns pledging Xbox One support] with @ID_Xbox," said Spencer. "Played 2 of the first shipping games, a Worms game n Nutjitsu, right before [annual gaming summit] DICE," he added.
Worms developer Team 17 confirmed to GameSpot that its Worms title would be Worms Battleground, promising a next-gen makeover for the long-running series.
