Laptop owners have something to cheer about today as Advanced Gravis introduced the first laptop gamepad. It's called the Stinger Laptop Game Pad.
The pad gives laptop users joystick-like feeling with 360 degrees of control, and the pad can also function as a mouse, a gamepad, or a joystick.
"Stinger adds a new dimension of excitement and control to laptop gaming. We think it meets a huge need in a market that's undergoing explosive growth," said Nica Graziotto, Gravis product manager.
Due to hit shelves in November for US$39.99, the palm-sized Stinger requires a 486 processor or faster, a CD-ROM drive, Windows 95/98, and an open serial port.
