Goat Simulator developer Coffee Stain Studios gave players another taste of what's next for the series via a new trailer for Goat Simulator 3. The trailer, which premiered at Opening Night Live, depicted the same udderly ridiculous goat-based chaos fans of the series adore--this time with a few new twists, like flying (well, ragdolling) pigs.
One of the most eye-catching features of Goat Simulator 3 is the player's ability to amass a group of buddies they can team up with to cause mayhem. Unlike its predecessor, which focused mainly on solitary sandbox gameplay, the game's official website declares that "Goat Simulator 3 will let you gather a herd of friends to wreak havoc on the world together." Goat Simulator 3 will have both a 4-player co-op mode (available locally and online) and a series of seven new mini-games, giving players plenty of bang for their buck.

Now Playing: Goat Simulator 3 Trailer | Gamescom ONL 2022
Goat Simulator 3 was announced back at Summer Game Fest Live in June with a trailer that parodied the Dead Island 2 reveal from roughly 123 years ago. There is no Goat Simulator 2, so don't worry about some sort of Mandela Effect moment, but that doesn't mean it was the only name idea Coffee Stain Studios had. Joking in a PlayStation Blog post, the developers said it was picked after Sony chose God of War: Ragnarok beforehand, and Goat Simulator 4 being a step too far.
The original Goat Simulator was created before the recent wave of silly "simulator" games, tasking players with little more than causing as much trouble as possible for humanity. That meant breaking a whole lot of stuff and sprinting at top speed, which is a whole lot of fun. Goat Simulator 3 is out November 17 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation systems. If you're looking to pre-udder the game (or just get a better look at it), check out the official Goat Simulator 3 website.
