Elsewhere, the update fixes general problems with PlayStation Network functionality, such as ironing out frequent error message pop-ups and adding support for a "Players Met" notification. It also fixes "various bugs and crashes," but these weren't specified.
In other Ghost of Tsushima news, Sucker Punch confirmed the open-world samurai action game will be playable on PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility. Further, the game will take advantage of the next-gen console's hardware through Game Boost, an enhancement feature that provides certain PlayStation 4 games with higher or smoother frame rates.
The PlayStation 5 launches on November 12. Two variants of the next-gen system are available at launch, so check out our PlayStation 5 preorder guide to learn about both of them.
