Following the massive uproar that stemmed from not being transparent on whether or not the game's Halloween mod, Diretide, would be celebrated this year, Valve seem to have been eager to not keep their fans waiting for Frostivus.
Nothing specific about this year's edition of the event has been outlined as of yet aside from a comic on the official Frostivus-page on dota2.com, whom fans of the franchise are already attempting to decipher in order to find out what the twist in the game mode's plotline really is. As everyone who was around last year will remember, the Frostivus celebration went awry as an invasion of unlikable beings known as "Greevils" promptly ruined the joyous occasion for all of our favorite characters.
"Don't trust the green mist", says reddit user SXcalibur who submitted the following print screen of the Frostivus comic to the Dota 2 subreddit. Keep an eye out in the upcoming days to see how only you can save the season from certain catastrophe!
