This is a tough challenge that, once completed, will earn you the Wolverine skin, so it's well worth it. That's right: you need to be able to defeat Wolverine before you can become Wolverine. This guide will show you the best way to eliminate the Hugh Jackman Fortnite cosplayer with ease. Of course, before you can do that, you need to know where Wolverine is, and in this guide we'll run you through where he tends to spawn and how to kill him once you find him.

　　

Where Does Wolverine Spawn?

Wolverine spawns somewhere in Weeping Woods every match--he doesn't have a single location. Some players have found him in the southern half of the area more often, though. It's best to land near one of the main buildings in the area and loot up before going to find him. Grab a truck from one of the nearby parking lots and then drive around the woods until you locate the yellow-clad NPC. If you don't know what to look for, he looks like Wolverine.

　　

How Do I Eliminate Wolverine?

Wolverine has regenerative abilities, so you'll need to deal a lot of damage quickly to prevent him from healing. If you don't do this, he can regain all of his health and you'll end up essentially starting over from the beginning of the fight, wasting precious time and giving others the chance to take you out. He's fast, too. His claws let him cover a lot of ground quickly and the damage they deal will kill you after a few strikes. It's better to approach this challenge with a squad, as you can deal far more damage together. This also eliminates the possibility that he'll have time to regain any health, especially in the event that your group is ambushed during this fight.

　　Wolverine Weeping Woods Location Thankfully, he's a bit easier to take down in Fortnite than he is in the comics or movies. The healing factor has received a slight nerf. One strategy to take him out easily is to drive close to him to get him to follow you. Then drive to the closest building, get out, and build a ramp to the top of the building. Destroy the ramp immediately and Wolverine will be unable to follow you. Once you're on the roof and the ramp is destroyed you can deal as much damage as you want and he'll just stand there. Take him out to complete the challenge.

What Reward Do I Get For Eliminating Wolverine?

You'll get the Wolverine skin once you eliminate Wolverine. You can combine it with previous rewards to make the entire Wolverine set. Wolverine's awakening challenges will let you use his claws as a harvesting tool, but that challenge won't be available for another few weeks. Be sure to complete all the Wolverine challenges before the end of Season 4. Snikt! The birthday challenge that was previously available (and came with a sweet back bling prize) ended October 1. Unlike the season's challenges, you can't still complete this one and get a reward. Better luck next year!
