Fortnite made a massive change with the start of Chapter 2. After taking the game offline completely for a couple of days--during which fans were absolutely perplexed--it came back with an entirely new map and new gameplay systems. That will mark a longer-than-usual wait for the new season of Fortnite, as the Chapter 2 changeover first occurred in October. But the longer season has been punctuated by special seasonal events and a Star Wars movie tie-in. In the remaining time left for Season 1, Epic says it will introduce new Overtime challenges and a new limited-time event. It will also be updated to version 11.50, which will include a limited test of Unreal's Chaos physics engine.
