Majesco has released a handful of screenshots of Bomberman Max 2, the upcoming sequel to the popular GBC game starring the iconic hero and his friend Max. This time around, Mujoe and his gang, the Hige Hige bandits, shrink Bomberman and Max to the size of ants with a dreaded weapon called the "mini mini device." As logic would dictate, the duo has to seek out and destroy this device to get back to their normal forms.
Like what Nintendo established with the Pokémon series, Bomberman Max 2 will have two versions--Red and Blue. Each version will have creatures and stages unique to it, forcing players to see all that the games have to offer to go through both. Twenty hidden areas will be unlocked if both versions are linked together, which serves as an extra incentive. Overall, each game will feature five complete stages, each with 16 stages.
