Head Games Publishing releases the hunting sim Cabela's Big Game Hunter II this week. The game features 50 3D hunting locations on a two-CD set. This sim allows players to choose gear and weapons (from the latest Cabela catalog, natch), buy their hunting tags, and even consult hunting regulations before setting off to bag the big game. Cabela's Big Game Hunter II allows players to forage in four different environments - Alberta, Canada, Colorado forests, New Mexico mountains, and African plains - hunting for game that includes deer, cougar, elk, cape buffalo, and impala with weapons that include semiautomatic center-fire rifles, Magnum rifles, an H&H muzzle loader, a 12-gauge shotgun, a recurve bow, and others. The game also boasts over 300 live-action video sequences.
