Berkeley Systems is readying another multiplayer online game along the lines of its popular Acrophobia and You Don't Know Jack games. This one they're calling What's The Big Idea?
In this game, players stand at the foot of a lunar pyramid and attempt to scale to the top, avoiding sticky zones, tornadoes, and other pitfalls along the way. Players advance up the pyramid by choosing the most popular response to a series of questions. (Sample questions: If people witness a serious crime, do you think they should be legally obligated to report it? - Yes or No. If my amount of physical activity was compared to a horse, I would be most like - a race horse, a trotter, or a kiddie ride at a petting zoo. The cooler Darren from Bewitched was - Dick York, the first one, or Dick Sargent, the second one.)
Over on the Bezerk site, they're signing up players for what they're calling a "special pre-release pilot" version of the game (we might call it the more familiar "beta test").
