ATI Technologies reported its fiscal second quarter incomes ending February 28, 1999, on Thursday. ATI posted sales at US$297.2 million, a 63 percent increase over the same period in 1998, and an adjusted net income of $39 million, up 45 percent from the same period in 1998 (which was reduced to a mere $21.7 million after the purchase of Chromatic Research, Inc. in November 1998).
"Our second quarter continues the momentum of our consistent financial performance," said K.Y. Ho, ATI's president and CEO. "We are pleased to be on track to meet our fiscal 1999 objectives, including increasing total market share."
