　　After defeating last year's wildcard representative, Team Immunity in a shock upset, Avant Garde Ascension has announced that they will be leaving their parent organization to form a new organization.The team, which was formerly under the banner of Mindfreak eSports signed on with Avant Garde in late February and was one of two teams competing under the Avante Garde banner during the Oceanic Winter Regional.

　　Ascension's new organization, Legacy Esports will be their new home whilst the team competes in the upcoming European Wildcard Invitational

　　Legacy Esports official statement:

　　As of the 4th of July we, formerly known as Avant Garde: Ascension have decided to leave Avant Gaming. Going by the name Legacy eSports we are starting our own organisation, as we look to create something that will allow us the freedom to address our needs as we see fit and hopefully leave a mark on the Oceanic eSports scene. We want to build a brand that both players and fans can get behind as we represent Oceania internationally.

　　We currently have positions available within the org, these include but are not limited to video editing, graphics design, website design and content writers. 　　Avant Garde farewells its League of Legends team, Ascension.

　　The team has decided to part ways with the organisation on positive terms, in hopes of establishing and building their own brand and eSports organisation. We wish them the best of luck in this endeavour; any move to expand the ever-growing Oceanic eSports scene is a welcome one.

　　We are proud to have witnessed Ascension’s success at the Riot Autumn and Winter Regional events and are sad to part ways with such a passionate group of players.
