Now Playing: Best Things To Stream For September 2019 - Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Shudder
Most of Amazon's content drops on September 30, and there are plenty of movies you'll want to check out. The 1986 movie Platoon is getting a UHD release on the services that day. You can also relive the horror of the classic 1997 sci-fi thriller Event Horizon, which now has its own TV series coming to Amazon. But if you're into watching some sci-fi and don't want to be scared out of your pants, you can watch Total Recall--the good one, from 1990.
On September 24, last year's American Horror Story: Apocalypse arrives to the service. It's the end of the world--as the title suggests--and this season heavily crosses over with Season 1 (Murder House) and Season 3 (Coven), so you can expect plenty of witches battling the anti-Christ. It felt like a return to form for the series, even though it's one of the wildest seasons yet.
As far as Amazon Prime Video originals go, the finale of Transparent comes this September. On the 27th, there will be a musical finale for the series. The episode revolves around the death of Maura (Jeffery Tambor) and the family grieves for the loss of their transgender mother. Tambor left the series back in 2017 in the wake of sexual harassment allegations. The latest trailer for the Transparent finale gives viewers a good idea of that they can expect.
Below, you'll find everything coming to Amazon Prime Video for September. And while it's still early, Hulu has also revealed what's coming to its service next month as well.
