The goal in Hearts is to finish the game with the lowest score. Hearts carry penalty points, and the Queen of Spades holds an even higher value. Players take turns playing a card from their hand, starting with the person holding the Two of Clubs. The remaining players must match the suit if possible; if not, they can play any card. The player who plays the card of the leading suit with the highest rank wins the trick.

In each round of play, the player with the highest number claims all the cards, so meticulously plan each move to avoid taking the high-valued cards.
