Conway's Game of Life is similar to a grid-based game where each square can exist in either an alive or a dead state. Imagine beginning with a configuration where some squares are alive and others are dead. The game follows a few simple concepts to determine what will happen next.

You start with an initial pattern and watch as it evolves over time. Sometimes the pattern remains static, sometimes it repeats, and sometimes it moves around the grid. 1. Underpopulation: Any live cell that has fewer than two live neighbors will die.
