　　Yesterday's massive Dota 2 patch, the Three Spirits Update, added a lot of new elements to the game. There were two new heroes added, Diretide was brought back, and the cosmetic item system got an overhaul.

　　Though everything here should be taken with a grain of salt, below are some of the more memorable tweets about the patch from last night.

　　Evil Geniuses' support Jio 'Jeyo' Madayag made light of the new crafting system while promoting his Twitch.tv stream. Polymorph and Augmentation recipes becoming available added a new level of complexity to a system that used to be just item drops or purchases.

　　Former Team Liquid player, current Team Liquid member, and the mind behind the third-party Dota match making tool IXDL Mike 'ixmike' Ghannam said what we were all thinking after we had a few games of Diretide under our belt. It's entirely possible that spamming the Volvo subreddit about the mode is more fun than the mode itself.

　　While not a professional player, but most certainly a try hard, Bruno 'StatsmanBruno' Carlucci had a group of ten trying to set the Diretide Roshan kill record last night. At some point in time after this tweet his squad did hold the record, so I'm under the impression his squad got better as the night went on.
