On Tuesday, Westwood Studios announced what gamers should expect to see as the gaming world's eyes focus on Atlanta for the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
Westwood will be in the Virgin Interactive booth at the show where it will be showing attendees demos as well as conducting interviews with Westwood employees.
So what will it be showing? If you've been watching the news, these titles aren't going to surprise you since many have already heard that these titles are in development.
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun positions players 20 years after the original C & C. The title will feature dozens of new weapons, 3D dynamic terrain, colored lighting effects, a new physics system, and new multiplayer options.
Lands of Lore III will finally see the light of the expo center. Set as a 3D first-person RPG, the game will feature an epic storyline that will allow players to travel through six immersive worlds. It will feature new ways to customize characters, new spells, new magic items, and a 3D-accelerated game engine.
Dune 2000 will make its appearance again as Westwood is remaking the classic real-time strategy, Dune 2, with a new interface, better graphics, and multiplayer options. The remake is set to hit the shelves sometime in July.
The PlayStation will be getting a new version of C & C with Command & Conquer: Red Alert Retaliation, featuring 34 missions, seven units, 19 video sequences, and over 100 multiplayer maps.
