Players can turn into a lot of different characters in Super Mario Maker, and now one more is on the way. Princess Daisy from Super Mario Land (and various other Mario games) is on her way to Super Mario Maker.
The official Nintendo Japan YouTube account posted a video featuring the yellow-dressed princess (via NeoGAF). To play as her you need to collect a Mystery Mushroom, which turns the basic Mario into a number of different characters. You can currently unlock random Mystery Mushroom characters by playing the 100 Mario Challenge. You can also use an Amiibo to unlock a specific character.
It's not known at this time when Daisy will become available in Super Mario Maker.
Super Mario Maker got the honour of #5 in GameSpot's 2015 Game of the Year Countdown.
Nintendo recently added a course created by well-known, low-cost carrier Southwest Airlines. But it wasn't the first time a corporation appeared in the game. Super Mario Maker added a Mercedes Benz-themed level and costume back in December.
