Namco has revealed that it plans to feature Tekken Force: Assault as an original game mode in the PlayStation 2 version of Tekken 4. The game mode was first introduced in Tekken 3 for the PlayStation. While the original was played in 2.5D side-scroller beat-'em-up style, Tekken Force: Assault will be entirely 3D, with the gameplay resembling that of games such as Koei's Dynasty Warriors. Tekken 4 on the PlayStation 2 is scheduled for a March 20 release in Japan.
