Electronic Arts has announced the official release date for Medal of Honor Frontline for the Sony PlayStation 2. Originally set for a March release, the game will now be available at retailers nationwide on the anniversary of D-Day, June 6. According to EA, the game's slight delay is a result of the development team's desire to "make sure the game meets and exceeds the level of excellence that is associated with all Medal of Honor titles."
Medal of Honor Frontline is an entirely new game in the series and is designed specifically for the PlayStation 2. The game puts you in the role of Lt. Jimmy Patterson and takes place in the time between the third and fourth missions of the original Medal of Honor for the PlayStation. GameSpot will have more on the game as its release nears.
