Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that it has awarded Take-Two Interactive with the worldwide license to develop, publish, and distribute video games based on the upcoming film version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The new adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic children's book, directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka, will hit theaters in 2005. The games, in development for "next generation consoles, handheld, and PC," will be published under Take-Two's Global Star label.
