Square recently mentioned that it had 12 new games in development for this fiscal year. The company has already announced seven of those games, including FFX, FFXI, FFXII, the untitled Disney RPG, and Gekikuukan Pro Baseball 2001 for the PlayStation 2; Wild Cards for WonderSwan Color; and the new Final Fantasy handheld game. That leaves five games that haven't been announced yet.
According to a company report, of those five, the company plans to release two sports games, one online strategy simulation game, one online RPG for the PlayStation 2, and one RPG for a handheld platform. No specific details have been revealed, but further information will be released in the coming months.
