TOKYO--Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that it will hold a strategy conference in Japan next Tuesday, just days before the Tokyo Game Show. While the conference will outline SCE's plans for the second half of the fiscal year ending March 2005, details on exactly what will be discussed are still under wraps.
According to Bloomberg Japan, SCE president Ken Kutaragi will be at the meeting. The conference will likely result in some new announcements, possibly even details on the PSP's release date and price. It's also suspected that the strategy meeting may spur the announcement of a redesigned version of the PlayStation 2, which has been widely rumored to be in production.
