Kesmai has begun beta testing the ship-to-ship combat game Silent Death on its GameStorm web site, the company announced.
Mythic Entertainment has been developing the multiplayer game, based on the tabletop game of the same name created by Iron Crown Enterprises. Set 9000 years in the future, Silent Death is a world of warring political organizations called Houses, which attempt to destroy each other's ships.
The game's physics model means players have to pilot their ships using thrusters and inertia. Mythic used voxel (3D pixel) technology to create and animate the ships.
