Vigilance, SegaSoft's new action/strategy title for Windows 95/98, has been released to retailers nationwide. The title sports multiple smart cameras (for first- and third-person views), complex characters, and a suspenseful plot all contained in a fully 3D environment.
The story behind the game focuses on making the game feel like a movie where you're recruited as a member of an antiterrorist team (composed of eight members) who must stop a terrorist conspiracy through a series of 25 missions.
"Vigilance introduces a new level in 3D action," said Larry Pacey, executive producer of Vigilance. "Now players can take greater control of a third-person camera affording them the ability to seamlessly maneuver in one direction while shooting in another."
Vigilance sells for US$49.99 and includes instant multiplayer gratification through SegaSoft's Heat.net free game service where up to 16 players can play against one another.
