PopTop Software's Railroad Tycoon II: Second Century add-on has gone gold and should be appearing in stores around April 26.
Second Century will feature 15 stand-alone maps and a campaign featuring 18 scenarios set between 1930 and 2042. These scenarios will involve modern and futuristic railroad and mass transit technologies, as well as worldwide problems like global warming and the Cold War.
In other Railroad Tycoon II news, the Macintosh version has gone gold as well. It will be in stores at about the same time as the Second Century expansion (which is for the PC). The Mac version was co-developed by PopTop Software and Westlake Interactive. Both are being published by the Gathering of Developers.
