PlayStation 4 has lost Facebook integration. Sony announced in a news post that as of October 7, Facebook is no longer supported for all the "Share" features.
This means players can no longer post their gameplay clips to Facebook or share their Trophy unlocks with friends on the social networking site. Additionally, the "friend finder" feature that uses Facebook to help find friends, is no longer support.

This also means that PS4 users who imported their Facebook profile picture as their profile picture on PS4 will have to pick a new one.
In short, the only major change here is that Facebook is no longer supported as a place where you can share content using the PS4's Share button. All of the other existing sharing destinations, including Twitter, remain available. Additionally, players can still use the web browser to visit Facebook from their PS4.
A spokesperson for Facebook told Kotaku that Facebook integration is expected to return if the company can come to terms with Sony on a new contract.
"We're working with Sony to finalize an updated contract designed to improve the Facebook integration on PlayStation," Sony said. "While these discussions are in progress, Facebook features will not be available on PlayStation 4. We hope to bring these features back as soon as our teams reach agreement."
As VG247 points out, it is possible that the removal of Facebook integration on PS4 is related to the Cambridge Analytica scandal at Facebook, which pertains to the company's handling of user data.
In July, Facebook said in a statement that it was removing PlayStation's access to Facebook friend data "immediately."
Looking ahead, Sony is expected to launch the PlayStation 5 in 2020. Some information about the next-generation console has come to light, but there is no word yet on its social platform integration.
