After a few delays, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is finally on store shelves. The action title from Ubisoft is available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC.
Warrior Within continues the story of the young swashbuckler who originally appeared on PCs in the late 1980s and was successfully resurrected by Ubisoft one year ago in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
The sequel's macabre storyline sees the titular prince attempting to escape his prophesied death while on the run from Dahaka, a vengeful reaper bent on seeing the prince perish. The prince must pass trials and defeat enemies on a cursed island using his powers of time control.
The prince also has an all-new fighting system to help him avoid an early end. The game's free-form fighting system allows the hero to use his environment to his advantage, dual-wield weapons for dozens of combos, and decapitate foes by throwing secondary weapons.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is rated M and has an SRP of $49.99 on all formats. For more, read GameSpot's full review.
