Within the last few weeks there have been rumors flying around stating that there will be a company in the UK working on games for the Dreamcast thatwhich will concentrate only on the online gaming capabilities of the console. However, that's not quite true. We sat down with Chris Patmore of the company On-Line to find out more about the rumors.

　　On-Line has one major title in development right now, which is Carmageddon Online. The title is for the PC format, though, and not for the Dreamcast. As Chris Patmore, PR executive at On-Line PLC, explains, "On-Line is currently working on Carmeggedon Online. The project is in development and will be launched initially in the form of a demo. From this we will gain valuable feedback from the fans before we complete the final version."

　　While currently also working on a soccer-management game named Giant Killers Euro Manager 2000, On-Line is not sure yet whether the game will be published for the Dreamcast as well or whether another title would be more suitable. "In April this year, we gained Sega Dreamcast developer status and are currently working on products from our expanding sports range to mark our expansion onto this console," comments Patmore. "We are currently looking at Giant Killers, which was published on PC format earlier this year, as a potential project for Dreamcast, although there is no confirmation of its publication as yet."
