The official MechWarrior Online page announced that it will be launching new content and updates for the game in April.

　　MechWarrior fans can expect a bevy of changes this April. The new content includes the addition of artillery consumables, air strike options, cockpit items, and a new line of BattleMechs called Champions. The new mechs come equipped with a permanent 5 percent experience boost and custom configurations.

　　Other additions in the update include improvements of team options, which allows players to join two lances with a commander each and assign lance commands using the battlegrid, and some tweaks to the user interface in-game. Players can also expect 12 versus 12 modes as well as more community events like double XP weekends.
