TOKYO - Nintendo released screenshots for Mario Party. It's a board game with lots of minigames inside. In this game, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Wario, and Donkey Kong compete to decide who is the "real" superstar. As you proceed through the game, you can collect coins on the board. You can get one star for each 20 coins collected. At the end of the game, the winner is the one who has the most stars.
After all the players have made their moves, you play the minigames. You receive or lose coins depending on the result of the minigame.
Mario Party for the N64 will be released on December 18 in Japan for 5,800 yen (about US$49).
