This week might be all about content coming out of the Tokyo Game Show, but in just a few days' time, the eyes of many Xbox 360 owners will be on Gears of War 3.

　　To celebrate the launch of the game on September 20, Microsoft has teamed up with Aussie retailer EB Games to open up the MacArthur Square, NSW store on Monday night so that fans can pick up their copies of the game as the clock strikes midnight. The first 300 people who attend will also receive a special Gears of War 3 gift bag.

　　The night will be all about Gears of War 3, and fans are being encouraged to dress up and compete in an outfit competition. Free refreshments will also be provided for thirsty and hungry line campers.

　　While the main launch event will be held in New South Wales, other stores around the country will also be staying open late. As always, be sure to check with your local retailer for details. Western Australian stores will be opening at 8 a.m. on launch day.
