Galvin Jian Wen 'Meracle' Kang will not be able to participate with Titan e-Sports in the Asian Cyber Games-May 2024

Even though his team were not able to advance past the G-League's group stage, the young carry player from Singapore has been the talk of the tournament due to his incredible play on Naga Siren, his favorite hero, which turned around certain defeat in almost at least one game per series Titan played in the tournament.

But now, the shuffle for Kang commences once more as he is not eligible to participate with Titan at the upcoming Asian Cyber Games tournament, which utilizes the same rules as WCG where all participating teams have to share the same nationality to be eligible to compete. Ng 'YamateH' Wei Poong, one of the first Malaysian superstars in DotA, will act as a replacement for the young Meracle during the tournament.

Kang's entry in to Titan has been a very mixed bag in terms of results, whilst Kang has granted the team incredible victories due to his impeccable Naga Siren, almost every other game he has played with the team in the three Bo3s they have participated in have ended in losses when he wasn't able to play his signature hero. The team itself, which is made up of four of the five members from the Orange-Neolution roster that took 3rd place at this year's edition of The International, have been struggling during their post-TI3 dreamrun after losing their star midlaner Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung to Team DK prior to them joining Titan. As Titan eSports, they've yet to claim a title in their native SEA region and their most recent LAN endevaour aside from G-League ended in a very unexpected 2nd place finish against Team Mineski at the GMPGL 2013 grand final.

Whether Kang decides to remain with the team following the ACG or not remains to be seen.
