Akaei is developing a new cartoon-style arcade racer, which features a variety of humorous characters. The object of the game is to win races by any means possible, and players will have access to a number of power-ups and explosive weapons. The game will feature more than 10 vehicle types and a varied selection of tracks, ranging from Earth-based tracks in Japan, Morocco, and Egypt to tracks on Venus and the moon.
In addition to the single-player game, Toon Car will feature multiplayer support for up to four players. Toon Car is scheduled for a European release in October. No US publisher or release date has been announced.
