Atari has released the first screenshots from Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, the sequel to the top-selling multiplatform game based on the Dragon Ball Z anime. The "Toriyama-shaded" (similar to cel shading, but named after the character designer of the series) game will feature an all-new single-player game called dragon mode where players can join with a team of computer-controlled characters in the hunt for the seven elusive dragon balls. Budokai 2 will also have versus, tournament, and training options, as well as 34 characters from the series, including Buu, who appears in three different forms. Interestingly, players will also be able to fuse two characters together to create a new character.
