Fable franchise manager Ted Timmins, who worked on every game in the role-playing game series and who labels himself a Pokemon Master, has left the Microsoft-owned Lionhead Studios. He announced the news in a series of tweets.

"I've decided to leave Lionhead. This was a really tough decision, as I've had such an amazing time here," he wrote.

Lionhead Studios gave Timmins his first industry job, where, as an 18-year-old newcomer, he was put to work on 2004's original Fable for the Xbox, known at the time as Project Ego.

He has since worked on every entry in the series, including Fable II, Fable III, Fable Heroes, Kinect game Fable: The Journey, and Fable Anniversary for the Xbox 360.

As Fable franchise manager, Timmins was also likely to be involved in the upcoming Xbox One game Fable Legends, though he does not list that game specifically on his Linkedin page.

It's unclear what Timmins plans to do next.
