Out of the 16 teams that took to Valencia to compete for this year's DreamHack Valencia title 8 are currently still in the running, Among those eliminated the only team that stands out is WebSpell, a French up and coming team. Despite beating Spanish home side OutBreak in their first match of the group by a score of 19-17 the French squad lost the deciding re-match against Aguila's new team in the final game of the group by a score of 16-19.
Among the remaining competitors are all 5 of the internationally better-known teams, as well as Spanish teams OutBreak and OverGaming. The French talents of Platinium are the final team in the play-offs. For now there is no set official English tournament stream throughout the day, although it has been confirmed that the Grand Finals will be streamed in English.
