You can tell when someone--even a pro athlete--is and isn't a gamer. It shows up in their enthusiasm when talking about games, and in the titles they mentions during a conversation. Besides being a good hoops player, Corey Maggette is clearly a gamer, which made it all the more fun for me to talk to him recently as he took a break from some digital modeling work with the NBA 2K6 development crew. He's not alone either, as it appears most of his Clippers' teammates are big gamers as well, which probably makes for some pretty fun post-game get-togethers.
By the way, if you look real close at the first picture on page 1 of the interview, you'll notice that's not a Maggette jersey he's wearing...
