TOKYO - Tetris is one of those games that doesn't get old easily. That's why there have been so many versions of the game on nearly every video game system imaginable. But Tetris has been absent from the home market for a little while. Now, there are multiple Tetris games in development.
Blue Planet Software is building a title called The Next Tetris (TNT). It's an update of the game with special effects, a two-player mode, and more. The game screen is rather plain, but that's not entirely bad. It's definitely different. It will be interesting to see how this stands up to Tetris games from Capcom, Arika (in the arcade), and Nintendo (Tetris DX for the Game Boy Color).
