PC Data has released the PC game sales figures for the week of September 17 to September 23. Recent additions to perennially popular game franchises have filled several spots on the top ten, and two expansions are right at the top of the charts: The Sims Livin' Large and Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion. However, two new stand-alone games have also made their way into the top ten this week. Baldur's Gate II, a deep AD&D role-playing game from Interplay, jumped into fifth place in its first week in stores. Rainbow Six: Covert Ops Essentials, which adds new levels to the tactical squad shooter as well as a new counterterrorism database feature, started out at number nine.
