UK retailer Argos has slashed its price of the 32GB Wii U to £179.99 (approximately $300).

　　Many retailers have been selling the Wii U at a less-than-RRP price for months, although Argos' price cut is one of the deepest seen for the 32GB Premium bundle so far. The console launched in November 2012 for an RRP of £299.

　　Online retailer Amazon is also matching Argos' price for the time being.

　　Last year Asda offered deep discounts on its stock of Wii U hardware before removing the hardware from its stores nationwide, which Amazon also matched.

　　Is £179.99 low enough to pique your interest, or would the price have to drop lower to get you interested in a Wii U?

　　The price cut follows yet another announcement of disappointing Wii U sales from Nintendo's financial reports.
