Think that sci-fi shooters are too serious? VU Games will have something for you soon. The publisher announced that Metal Arms: Glitch in the System, its comic sci-fi shooter, shipped out today for the GameCube, Xbox, and PlayStation 2.
Developed by Swingin' Ape, the game lets gamers assume the role of Glitch, a goofy robot with a dead-serious arsenal. (Think Futurama's Bender with a rocket launcher.) Glitch is tasked with saving his planet (what else) from General Corrosive, the disagreeable head of a ruthless android junta. GameSpot's preview has the full run-down on the wee robot's struggle.
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System has an ESRB rating of 'T' for teen and an MSRP of $49.99.
