Dawn of War II: Retribution launched back in 2011, but it's still getting new DLC. Rather than introducing new content, however, this latest addition consists of gobs of blood.

The Ridiculously Blood Blood Pack, as it's so called, makes the entire game much bloodier. "With massively increased frequency and size of blood effects, the Bloodpack DLC brings combat in Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II: Retribution to a new level of brutality," reads the Steam page. "Subtlety be damned!"
The blood can be so extreme, in fact, that the Steam page offers a warning that it can "affect battle visibility when in combat." It even goes on to explain how to disable the DLC pack, should it prove to be too distracting.
While you might expect this to be a freebie, the DLC carries a price tag of $2. Developer Relic offered a similar DLC pack for some of its past games, including Total War: Shogun 2 (Blood Pack) and Total War: Rome II (Blood & Gore Pack).
If you need the full game, Retribution is currently on sale on Steam for $7.49.
