Sony Online Entertainment has officially announced EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontier, an expansion for EverQuest Online Adventures for the PlayStation 2. The expansion will include a number of new features, including new items, new quests, three new cities, and 24 dungeons. The game will also feature a new playable race (the ogres) as well as an entirely new continent to explore.
"With more than 500,000 of the PlayStation 2 system's network adaptors installed in US homes, Sony Online Entertainment is committed to serving this growing online audience," said Michael Lustenberger, director of product marketing for Sony Online Entertainment. "With Frontiers we're making several changes to improve the game for new players while adding a huge amount of new content to keep current EverQuest Online Adventures players involved in the game."
EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontier is scheduled for release in Q4 2003.
